About Enjoying RV's

The common thought when you hear the term RV or, “Recreational Vehicle” is a reference to campers or motorhomes. When referencing the actual definition of the two words individually you get a much different meaning. For example Google’s Oxford Languages dictionary refers to recreational as:

Adjective - Relating to or denoting activity done for enjoyment when one is not working. "Recreational Facilities"

Nothing personal against Oxford Languages but we tend to think Vocabulary.com has a more accurate definition:

Something is recreational if you do it just for fun. If you're not a professional golfer but love the game, it's recreational. Anything you do because you enjoy it — rather than because you are obligated to do it — is recreational.

Vehicle is defined by Oxford as:

A thing used for transporting people or goods, especially on land, such as a car, truck, or cart.

Again, we believe our friends at Vocabulary.com have a more accurate definition with:

A vehicle is anything that transports a person or thing, usually a car. But a vehicle can be a truck, a plane, a bus, a blimp or even a shopping cart, anything that transports people or things.

By this we can clearly see the definitions have far greater scope than just campers or motorhomes. This is why we created Enjoying RV’s. We believe any vehicle you get enjoyment from is considered recreational.

The Website

This Website was created so anyone who has a passion for any of these six categories: Campers and Motorhomes, Motorcycles, Watercraft of all types, All Terrain Vehicles, Snowmobiles, and even Aviation enthusiast would have a place where they can come and join others with similar interests. We have setup a place where site visitors can share their stories through our blogging platform, join in forums or message boards and share information with others.

Buy or Sale

Within each category we have setup a classifieds script, or vehicle listing software so anyone who wishes to, including dealers, can post their vehicle for sale. This includes everything from $100 kayaks to multi-million-dollar yachts, and from ATV’s to LSA’s. Submission of your listing is easy; simply complete the form provided on the category page of your item and you will receive login credentials along with instructions on how to post your listing.

Parts and Accessories or Join in the Swop-Meet

One of our most popular offerings is the swop-meet where visitors can connect with others to exchange items or share information on where they might be able to get hard to find parts or accessories. We also offer a place where people, or companies, can display parts and accessories for sale.
